I mean like sights, the grand canyon and stuff like that. this will be on the summer and I’m not sure I’m going yet but it sounds like a good experience

If you’ve never been, you must go to Yellowstone National Park and the Tetons. They’re on the way, and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Where in California are you going? It’s a huge state; it helps to know which parts you’ll be visiting.

Also, which interstates will you be using? About 20 years ago, I took a road trip from CA to MI mostly via I-2 across the northern tier. That was one spectacular trip, especially through Montana. It’s more out-of-the-way than the I-80 route, but more rewarding.

Cedar Point. Seriously the best theme park on the planet.

It would help us in giving you suggestions if we knew more about your family. How many? How old is everyone? Any interests (historic stuff, national monuments, amusement parks, must see towns, what?).

And also, as stated above, your route will help a lot. Like what highway are you taking, and what states are you going thru (for those of us not familiar with the highways that well). It will help us to decide if our detour will be way too long to suggest.
