Do you think the fluther app should work in landscape mode?

Asked by Lalalime (95points) June 27th, 2009 from iPhone

Do you think fluther would be easier to view and type in if it were able to disply in landscape mode? How do we alert the fluther masters if we all feel the same?

Yes I think it should

Yes, but more importantly it should allow you to go to links. Also, if you receive a phone call while on the app you lose where you were at and have to start from scratch. I figure they’ll eventually get around to fixing all that. In the meantime I’ll continue to use the web app.

Just so you know. Bendrew doesn’t have anything to do with the iPhone app. It was written by someone else that uses the site.

Who that is, I don’t know.

No. I don’t really like landscape mode.

The app is just a wrapper of the iPhone website. I’m guessing as soon as a Fluther API comes out, it’ll get a lot more native.

Yes.

But I’m not a big fan of it at all. Accessing fluther on Safari (i.fluther.com) on the iPhone is a much better experience, IMHO.

Didn’t even know it existed and sounds like I’m not missing anything.

Haha I didn’t even know there was one. Thanks for telling me. Also, I never seemed to like the landscape keyboard. I never use it. It fills up most of the screen and I can type just as fast and just as accurate with portrait.

I use fluther like @cprevite. Landscape works, you don’t lose your place if a call or text comes in. I haven’t tried the app but I’m happy with i.fluther.com :)
