If your on birth control and you recently had sex but forgot to take the days pill and know you wont be able to have access to your pills for another 3 days(yes i know im going to have to restart the whole cycle) is there any reason for concern?

I’d get a hold of the plan b pill just in case. It’s worth the $40.

I agree with @Facade.

Of course there’s a reason to be concerned. The BC pills are daily for a reason. They’re not optional. 28 days out of 30 isn’t “good enough”.

Get in touch with your medical provider and find out what steps are necessary for the “morning after pill” just in case.

It depends a lot on how long you have been on the pill and where you were in the cycle when you missed your pill. If you were on day 10 or later you will not ovulate for some time even without the pill, especially if you have been taking it for three months or more, and all you have to do is wait a week and start a new package. To be extra safe use a barrier contraceptive (foam, condom) during that week.

I agree with @MrItty and do what @YARNLADY said… and talk to your doctor ASAP…pronto
