Has any athlete won league MVP after not being an All-Star that season?

Not speaking of never being an all-star. Just in the season they won the MVP. Wondering this because of Miguel Cabrera on the Detroit Tigers who was not chosen as an All-Star, but could be considered for the American League MVP.

Quite a few have. Ty Cobb, for example, won MVP in 1911 but didn’t make the All-Star team that year.
Of course that might be because the All-Star game didn’t start until 1933.
