Can you play a Keynote presentation from the iPhone?

Asked by Doc_Zola (102points) September 28th, 2009

I have exported a QT movie from Keynote to the iPhone but the pauses are taken out and it plays as one long movie. Any idea how to get the full dynamic out of Keynote and on to the iPhone? Then play it from a doc to a plasma or projection?

Here’s exactly what you need: Keynote Remote is an iPhone app for controlling Keynote ‘09, but it should also work with Keynote ‘08.

I am looking to bypass the laptop and just walk in with my phone and go with an AV dock with HD cable outs HDMI to display the presentation using Quicktime. Maybe the new QT has pauses in the video? – thank you for making me rethink the process.

if there are no serious animations, you could just create a pdf of the presentation and store it on the iphone as photos, or on your idisk if you have the mobile me idisk app. then you could just flick through the slides on your iphone

I could but i’m using some of the great 3D transitions that set Keynote apart from a slideshow. I can use it from iDisk but running an 80mb file off the phone isn’t as smooth when its streaming. I have some embedded movies as well in the keynote deck. The compressed version is great – just no breaks in the smaller version. Something to do with the QT codec?
