What are some good documentaries / movies that show the plight of working class midwesterners?

I’m thinking in the genre of Michael Moore’s “Roger & Me”. I’m watching the HBO Documentary “Dirty Driving” and it’s so compelling—what are other films/documentaries in this genre?

@avartan…..you need to go back 2 generations to ~the dust bowl years….. think Steinbeck, etc…. then awfully, enough think laterally on Truman Capote making his rep writing “In Cold Blood” ... murders in Holcomb, Kansas…........ TC’s genius was digging out the essence of the murderers and that family in the ‘mid west’ ...........
