I am looking for an apartment in Dallas. Is there any website that makes it easy to find, that simplifies the process?

The apt/housing section of your local Craigslist:
http://dallas.craigslist.org/apa/

I’m sure there are other sites, but when it comes to apartments/temporary housing I’ve found CL to be your best bet.

Don’t be afraid to post in the ‘Housing Wanted’ section and hey, if you’re feeling adventurous. The ‘Housing Swap’ section! :)

Also don’t be afraid to check out the Dallas Backpage which is essentially a Craigslist clone.

Good luck in your search!

I’ll second craigslist. Also, if you want to live in downtown Dallas, I would highly recommend the Interurban Building on Jackson Street. My wife and I sold our house in the burbs so we could live there. I seriously considered turning down a great out-of-state job offer because it meant having to leave our loft.

You might also check out the real estate section of www.dallasnews.com.
