It could be a lot of different things, ranging from easily dismissible to very serious. You don’t want to mess around or take half measures when it comes to your back – this may call for a doctor’s visit. A physical therapist could probably help you, too.

It could be a pinched nerve, a pulled muscle, or any other of a number of things. If it doesn’t go away soon, or if it gets worse, go to the doctor to get it checked out.

When it happened to my husband it turned out he had broken a shoulder blade while playing football but never realized it. When it happened to me it turned out to be related to a herniated disk.

Yeah it could be anything from minor temporary to serious.

Anything from a pulled muscle to pneumonia. That’s exactly how I realized I needed to see the doctor when I had pneumonia.

Consult a doctor, please.

I injured my rotator cuff a long time ago and it felt like that. Still hurts a lot sometimes too. I did have testing done, but that was just because it was an L&I thing.
