Visit Walmart. With a camera.

The Statue of Liberty. Yes, it’s cheesy to a lot of people, but the US Department of the Interior just reopened the stairway to the crown this year, and the trek to the top is worth it on many levels.

The town I live in is pretty average… nothing much to see. But there is a beautiful drive one can take in nearby Peoria, IL. The street is called Grandview Drive and it is that… Teddy Roosevelt called it the World’s Most Beautiful Drive (probably a bit of an overstatement to say the least but…) it winds through a beautiful stately old neighborhood on the bluffs of the IL River. The view is just gorgeous overlooking the river and woods.
