Is it possible to re-heat fried razor clams?

Asked by trailsillustrated (16799points) January 20th, 2010

if they were fried fresh last night- if I wrapped them in alfoil in the oven? would microwave make them rubbery? I don’t want to waste them.

If you enclose them in foil, you’ll steam the breading off them. Same problem plus the rubbery issue with microwave. I would carefully heat them in the oven just long enough to get them reasonably warm and re-crisp the exterior a bit.

Its not healthy to leave extra, uneaten food outside of the fridge and eat them the next day. But its to late now, throw them away, those clams could cause food poisoning since you didn’t put them in the fridge yesterday.

@iScizoX2 Where do you get that the user did not refrigerate them? It does not say that.

i think the microwave would make them rubbery for sure! i would stick them in the oven as opppsed to just throwing them out.
