“the top-soaring red was Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars’ ’72 from the Napa Valley”
“The four winning whites were, in order, Chateau Montelena ’73 from Napa”

I don’t remember the publication that was shown in Bottleshock, which was an excellent movie.

You are a true oenophile. Correct on both Wines and Motion Picture did an excellant job in telling a true story. The Wine publication was “The Wine Spectator” which began in April 1976 for members of “The Wine Group” founded by my very good friend Bob Morrisey. It was issued bi-monthly for members only.Bob also wrote a column, “The Pleasures of Wine” for the San Diego Tribune” for many years. Here’s a new one. Who founded the Calif. Wine Institute?

Two questions. (1) Who was the Founder of “The California Wine Institute”?
(2) Who was “CNO” ( Chief of Naval Operations ) during the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis’?
