Where can I find some free, mp3 quality sound effects?

Asked by Blondesjon (33994points) February 17th, 2010

I am specifically trying to find sirens, whistles, alarms, etc. Anything that is loud, annoying, and meant to warn you is what I want. Everything I’ve hunted through on Google sounds like crap.

You can download reasonable quality SFX from soundogs.com (right click on the samples). Also, don’t record SFX using third party software from sound-effect.com, because that would be illegal.

http://www.soundboard.com/

are two I’ve used…bear in mind copyright laws if you intend to produce for profit…

@sndfreQ . . . I actually have an account at soundboard.

do you have any idea where to find a reliable, free, pop out soundboard?
