I want to make several pictures into 1 PDF, 1 image per page.

Asked by XOIIO (18328points) April 30th, 2010

I got some cool mangas from a friend, and want to read them on the go on my iPod. It is jailbroken so I have a PDF reader. How can I make these all into one PDf files? I tried pasting into word but part of the page was clipped off, and I don’t want to have to use CMD and some program to merge them.

Do you have a Mac or a PC?

If you have a Mac use the Preview app, it’s totally underrated.

Use PowerPoint and then convert the .ppt file.

save each pic as a pdf then create a pdf from the group of pdfs. You should have the option ‘make pdf from multiple files’ if you are using Acrobat.

@anartist Where would that be? I just got the program.

If you only have reader, make sure it isd the latest version.
Under the file menu is option, create a pdf using acrobat.com

Acrobat reader is different from acrobat.
But if you clicvk on the link and register at acrobat.com. You can upload pix to web and make the pdf there. I am trying it now.

|I found this site, it looks like this is the only free way to do it.

looks like that would work. acrobat com looks pretty useless. what wass the problem with word?

XOIIO's avatar

I can’t activate it without spending a crapload because it came with my pc, so literally no functions are available.

It should be easy in word, too. You can format the page with very small margins and format the images….size them so they fit on the page. And as someone said above, you can put tjhem in powerpoint. The powerpoint and word solutions are about the same. you call them slides or pages and place them and size them and caption them to suit

Congrats you answered your own question. Too bad you can’t give yourself a grest answer. I did. Try giving yourself a great answer. Fluther might just do something funny. :-)

Yeah no kidding. Unfortunatly the limit is 5mb per file, but that works fine for the mangas I have. Hopefully they will offer larger file sizes eventually.

@jelevis I’m thinking you’re clipboard didn’t copy properly?
