Can you save pictures from Powerpoint presentions?

Asked by Gemini (495points) May 10th, 2010

Some of the nicest pictures I have ever seen come in emails of Powerpoint presentations and I would love to save them in “my pictures” on my computer to use as desktop backgrounds. Is this possible somehow?

depends what type of computer are you using and power point version, if its an XP windows and if you have the service pack 2 installed you can right click on the photo in the slide show and save them. If your using Windows Vista or higher you can do the same right click and save as.., or use the snipping tool in accessories folder to take a copy of it.

if its a mac ur using, well i can’t really help you there.

if you really want, you can email the slideshow and i can email you back the pictures.

you can right click the picture in slide mode, copy it, and then paste it into Paint and save it as a JPEG.

If the file is a slideshow file, open the file using “Open” dialog box through powerpoint; that is, open powerpoint, File->Open.

Come out of the slideshow mode, if you are in there, by pressing “Esc”.

Right click on the picture, click on “Save as picture”, choose the format, jpeg, png, etc., select the folder you want to save to and say OK.
