John65pennington, and other Nashville natives, Is there anything we can do for you guys in Nashville at this time?

Asked by Adirondackwannabe (36713points) May 17th, 2010

Just wondered if there was something the collective could do to help you guys out. I’m guessing the water has mostly receded and the shock and horror part is starting to fade, but now the discouraged feeling and despair is starting with a lot of people. Is there anything we could do to help out?

Thank you so much for asking. this will be a year than Nashville will remember as the Flood of 2010. the worst damage we have ever sustained, because of flooding. the Fraternal Order of Police is heading up a telephone drive to solicit money for the victims. you can reach the Nashville National Hq’s of the FOP at FOP Nashville. every act of kindness is truly appreciated and again i thank you for asking. the property damages are just unbelievable. john

I was already there, John, my pleasure. It’s my home state, even though I live in NM now.

I go to Vanderbilt which is in Nashville. Our school set up a website for people affected and for people who want to help.
