Where I can purchase really old cell phones?

Asked by uniquenewyork (295points) July 24th, 2010

I’m trying to develop an SMS application for a non-profit in Kenya. Unfortunately, the mobile phones that work with on the network (FronlineSMS) are not easy to find on Craiglist, eBay or other resellers in the US.

Do you know anywhere in the US that might have these GSM phones for sale?

i would like to know this aswell, but I’d still like unlimited texting.

I notice a lot of the old nokias… i still have one.. lasts off the charger for a wk or 2.. it’s nice. i miss a lot of the old standard ring tones aswell.

They seem to have at least some of the ones your looking for here but they’re not cheap.

Ask people. Employ Craigslist and eBay.
I’ve got an old GSM phone sitting around, so it’s a good bet that others will too.
