Who do you spell "in-fat-ic" and what's it mean?

The announcer at the end of the UCLA game said it. I don’t think it’s a word.

Was it “emphatic”? Which basically just means forceful/vigorous – in other words “giving it your all”.

emphatic as in emphasis
