It was said in an article: That NASA sees space as their own private domain, and they will do whatever they can to keep everyone out. So I don’t know if NASA really owns space.

But the FAA doesn’t own any airspace past the stratosphere, so I assume everything in between?

Does NASA really see space as their own!?!

Quote from magazine:“NASA see this as an important step forward in the commercialization of space. However, NASA came off looking like a jealous bully who sees space as being its own private domain.”

Yeah, I guess I’m not that surprised. I mean NASA is owned by the US government. Go figure, right?

the US thinks they are god! When will they realize everyone is equal, and humanity owns the world, not America. U figure “team America world police” ripped on the US enough to make them realize they do NOT rule the world!!!!!

Cooldil17's avatar

Yes you are correct the US does think they own everything (My grammar was terrible in that statement) But I totally agree with you dude! lol

I disagree—the US Government thinks that they own everything. Not so much the actual people. That’s the problem with our country…the government has taken over. It’s only a democracy when we choose who we want to control us for another four years—and even at that, the voting system is screwy.

topserb96's avatar

even if we choose who we want to rule. They will just lie and cheat us neaway!!!!!!

I think the voting system needs to be changed. The electoral college was designed to keep the american people from electing and getting a madman into the office. But 8 years ago every american saw that system fall apart when Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the electoral.

This is just one of the many things that needs to be changed. And whats with Florida now that we are talking about voting? Must they screw up every election!? lol

America is going down the drain. Quality of life is gone. What is next?

Cooldil17's avatar

I’ll tell you whats next, either a racial revolution, or a sexual one, and no I don’t mean Bill Clinton! lol

topserb96's avatar

LOL. I wouldn’t doubt a revolution. But not one based on sex or race. The US has made a HUGE mistake helping Kosovo become independent!!!!! Now they will have terrorists in Eastern Europe!!!

xgunther's avatar

My father is Serb—and I wish to know so much about his country’s history. But Serbia and Kosovo are places that americans really don’t care about.

xgunther's avatar

I mean: the general public doesn’t really care. Ask an average person where Serbia is and they will say something like, “Russia?”

topserb96's avatar

actually most Americans think serbia is an Arabic country. Which shows how ignorant Americans really are. They can not tell the difference between Serbia and Siberia!!!! Even tho siberia was part of the ussr!

xgunther's avatar

Why do they think Serbia is an arabic country?

topserb96's avatar

I dunno! LOL. I just hear ppl say. ” u r Serbian? U don’t look Arabic” that was mainly in HS tho. College students are somewhat more educated. I just dont c y Americans think everything the US govt does is “good”!

@topserb96: This topic is becoming way off topic haha…on that note: Do you have AIM or myspace…I’d really like to converse more elsewhere. haha

it depends on a countries number of spaceships, deathrays, bombs, guns, astronauts, satellites, and rocket fuel.
