Wacky Races fans : Who did you like to see win those races?

Ahh the Hanna Barbera classic, still watch it now, with or without the kids. Simple request, basically which racer was your favourite? Which car the most innovative? I always had a soft spot for the Ant Hill Mob. One final point, why the hell did Dick Dastardly stop & cheat when he was holding a commanding lead? Yes i’m aware it’s just a cartoon, but these things matter goddammit! :¬)

I always used to root for Dick Dastardly, basically because I thought someone must be cheating him. Just on the law of averages his plans should have paid off at least once. Maybe he started off honest, maybe he was the best driver with the best car, but after being cheated so many times it made him stoop to their level.
