How to include pictures in an answer. I need to know the exact routine please.

Asked by AllAboutWaiting (377points) March 28th, 2011

I can’t seem to find the way to include highlighted reference to pictures during an answer. It is so common, I must be looking too hard and missing it.

The styling is right below the text box where you type in your answer.

” text ” : http://www.fluther.com (URL to the picture or webpage).

Without the spaces, of course.

@AllAboutWaiting You cannot directly “paste” a picture in your response. Just what @erichw1504 says….

If you want to share a picture that you have on your computer, you’ll have to upload it somewhere first. Because I don’t put my pictures on Flickr or another photo sharing site, I just use www.tinypic.com when I want to share pictures on Fluther.

If you want to link to a website (for pictures or anything else), @erichw1504‘s got it right.
Type in: ” text you want to use as your label ” : URLaddress
So: ” formatting ” : http://www.fluther.com/help/formatting/
with no spaces becomes:

formatting
