What happens if I don't edit a question?

Asked by Quinnk123 (201points) April 3rd, 2011

I don’t feel like editing a question that has already been answered. Do I have to edit it?

If it’s already been “removed for editing” and you don’t edit it, you can abandon it and it disappears. If you don’t feel it needs editing, take it up with the mods.

You are forced to eat pancakes for the rest of the week.

If you’re asked to edit it but don’t do so, it will just sit there in limbo until you either edit or abandon it.

Makes me wonder what it’s like in Question Limbo. Do you think they dance there?

^Only nekked dancing allowed in Question Limbo.

Damn! I got to write me some more questions that sent to editing. Anyone know a surefire way to get a question edited?

@wundayatta let me write it for you.

@wundayatta Use txt speak, misspell things and fail to use basic punctuation and capitalization, mix up they’re/their/there or too/to/two…

@Quinnk123 It just sits there forever until you do edit it.

Nothing, but it will sit there nagging you until you either edit or abandon. Also, keep in mind that it does count toward your questions per day limit.

It’s left there, alone, cold, weeping… leaving you with two choices:

1. Edit or abandon it.
2. Leave it there, while your subconscious eats away at you, losing sleep, and eventually entering an insane asylum. All just for leaving that question in limbo. Is it really worth it?
