What would you do if you knew you had 10 more years to live?

Asked by Sunny2 (18842points) February 19th, 2012

Whatever age you are now, you’re told you have only 10 years more. What would you do and in what order, assuming you’ll become less and less able to do much that is physical?

This is a tough one…. I would say travel, do as much good as I can to help people, and make those 10 years meaningful to me… I’m only 22 so I would die at 32… During those years I think I’d want to fall in love and get married…. and travel… I really want children, but knowing I would die 10 years later, would make it hard…but…. I don’t know.. I won’t think about having babies… So for now my answer is to just travel and help people, fall in love/get married/have lots of sex, try new things (cultures, food, sports).............. open my mind, and be spiritual….

I’d give everything away and spend all of my leftover time and money traveling to places and helping those in need as much as I can. I’d like to spend a great deal of time in Africa and India, specifically.

Definitely travel and see places I have always wanted to see, but mostly spend quality time with the people I love. Write the book on my bucket list.

Realistically, I would need someone to tell me I had only one year left before I do anything to change my current routine.

I’d live.

All I know is that it wouldn’t help my drinking problem. irony

Guess I’d live it up as best as I could, with what I got.

I would make sure I spent the rest of my days in the Scottish highlands.
