Is there a general way to make a request on DevianArt for people to make something?

Yeah, just ask to have it drawn. First, make sure the person is willing to take requests. I know a lot of people who like to stop doing requests as soon as i have one. Then, politely ask of your request and i promise you, itll be ready in a week or less. Hope this helped.

I did that once, a nic person made a tiny ladybug avatar for me. You just have to ask nicely.
