I’ve been with my boyfriend for just over two years and I have never once seen his toes. Even when he lived with me for a few months… Never saw them. They are always covered by socks or blankets or whatever… At this point I feel like seeing them is going to be weird. What if the second toe is way longer the the first (ack!)? (I don’t know why this has always weirded me out a bit, but I know its a fairly normal thing).
What off-the-wall things do you have in your closet?
I have never…
I’m afraid of…
Those sorts of things.

lol You’re funny! How have you never seen his toes?
My irrational fear of spiders is weird. I know a lot of people are creeped out by them, but I take it to a whole new level. A couple weeks ago there was a spider near my register at work. I flipped out so bad a customer killed it for me. He laughed and said “Damn, I thought my daughter was bad!”
Another time I was at my fiancés house and I went outside to smoke, I was just about to go back in and I saw a spider above the door. No way in hell was I going to walk under it, it probably would have attacked me! I was standing outside screaming for my fiancé to come kill it, when he tried it fell and came running toward me. OMG! My fiancé was hysterical. lol I made such a ruckus he was afraid the neighbors were going to think he was beating me or something.
Maybe you really have but just never realized it. Somewhat similarly, I called LG Support this morning about an issue I was having, or thought I was having, with my new LG dryer. I was almost positive that I used to see the power on/off button glow when I pushed it but according to LG Support, not so. Only the LED panel lights up.
I find earthquakes in Kansas to be weird.
People! I find some people very strange.
Example: I had a strange customer yesterday. She stood there whispering to herself. She sounded like the evil spirits you sometimes here mumbling in a movie. I would say something to her and she’d just stand there mumbling and staring at me before she’d answer. I’m not going to lie, she was freaking me out and making me very uncomfortable. I couldn’t wait for her to leave.
The Extremist conservative mind set.
on a more personable level as a kid I was terrified of Bees.
I think of people who love things like trains, motorcycles and cars are weird.
I’ll tell my husband you think he’s weird @YARNLADY! I do too sometimes!
I’m terrified of snakes. I had come across a person who was scared of butterflies and I found that to be weird.
My wife has what I consider an irrational fear of trains. Not riding in them, that does not bother her in the least, but just having them go by especially if they blow their whistle and if we get stopped at a crossing she about comes unhinged. Pretty fricken’ weird.
We speculate that it has something to do with a previous life
@rojo I’m exactly the same way. Just yesterday I was crossing some rarely used tracks just a block from my house. They actually are reserved for Rubbermaid and we get, maybe, 2 a year. Trains go very, very, very slowly through there.
Coming up to the tracks I heard a train blow his horn and I immediately felt physically sick. I creeped up to the tracks, stopped, looked, saw the train probably 10 blocks away, creeping along. I took a deep breath went on across, screaming in my mind the whole time.
There is a car-made dirt trail that runs along the tracks, that take you from one block to the other, should you choose to expose your car to it. Several years back I was driving home. It was dark. I was almost on the tracks. Suddenly there was a BRIGHT LIGHT ABOUT 10 FEET FROM ME, BLAZING DOWN ON ME!!! Jesus. I almost died. It was a motorcycle, headlamp on bright, pulling out of the trail next to the tracks.
@smitha, I’m afraid of butterflies! And moths. Yuckkk
