Where's my mail?

Asked by hug_of_war (10735points) September 3rd, 2014 from iPhone

I ordered something from amazon that came in the postal mail but apparently it was too big for my mailbox (I looked it up through its tracking number) however I never received the post card that tells you where to pick it up.

What do I do? I don’t drive so I don’t want to visit a whole bunch of usps places as that could take hours on my bike.

If you look it up again through its tracking number, you should be able to find where it is.

If you live in a house, have you checked outside? If in an apt., have you checked with the manager’s office?

@janbb It tells me the zip code of the post office, but there are multiple pick up places in my zip code

@Pied_Pfeffer I live in an apartment complex and it wasn’t left with the manager (though it was delivered on Saturday and nobody works on the weekends so it’s possible it got lost since the manager didn’t come in until Tuesday due to labor day.

Call the local post office with your tracking number, ask them where it is and can they re-deliver it.

You should be able to call the post office and give them the tracking number.

Thanks I did and picked it up (though it was in a super sketchy location)
