If I want to eat the unhealthy food, will Mindfulness Therapy help me decide to eat it?

I just gave eating the unhealthy food as an example. It sounds like you are supposed to not think of the consequences of eating it, and to just go ahead and eat it?

From what I understand it won’t help you decide to eat it.. rather it will aide you in preventing the anxiety that comes from knowing it is unhealthy.

Then again, I could be full of crap. I know nothing about mindfulness therapy.

So, it is the anxiety that’s bad, not the unhealthy food? How about will power?
