“As the collective shows lurve for you, your score increases. Your score approximates the positive contribution you’ve made to the Fluther community.

Sometimes you may find that your score doesn’t increase when you get lurve. This is because there are maximums that you can receive per answer, question, and person. We do this so that it’s more difficult to game the system.
Here’s how your score increases:

+1points for joining the collective
+1points for logging in two days in a row
+2points for getting added to someone’s fluther
+3points for each “Great Question” you ask
+5points for each “Great Answer” you write”

I’m more worried about the Question for You stopping working (which is why I miss this question) and how long the profile’s “flag as” button has to wait.

Hey all—I’m not able to reproduce this, unfortunately. I’ve verified that the code is working—I just received lurve for logging in.

I’ve been on 9750 for a number of days now. No login lurve accruing for me.

Do the lurve numbers we see in our feed actually relate to the increase in the score?

I had 2401 when I logged out last night.

If I count lurve in the feed, it’s around 90 for today.

My total is showing… 2416

(it’s been off like that for a while)

@BellaB No, people can “max out” on you. If someone’s given you 100 lurve already it won’t increase your score anymore when they GA you. Also once a particular answer has gotten 5 GAs further GAs won’t go toward your score. So yeah don’t expect it to all add up accurately.
