How would Mexico handle the border chaos now that Trump issued a warning?

Asked by Inspired_2write (14486points) March 29th, 2019

What would be the worst scenario ?
Would there be a wide scale war at the border where people get seriously harmed?
Is there a peaceful and fair way to deal with this scenario at the border?

@Yellowdog
Is that what you think Mexico would do?
People are leaving Mexico because of a corrupt government and harm to themselves if you were in that predicament I don’t think that you would appreciate an insensitive person saying that to you?
Sometime imagine yourself in that chaos with your family to keep safe?
Some people here on Fluther are so flippant and insensitive to the plight of others until they themselves are fighting for there lives.

These caravans are not from Mexico.

I think that the refugees from south America were offered asylum by Mexico but they prefer the USA. Since they reject Mexico’s offer then how can they still be considered refugees?

Anyway I think that this caravan refugee situation is actually part of a conspiracy. The goal is to flood the USA with refugees to increase the dependent class, burden the taxpayers, hurt our economy, and increase the Democrat voting base. Just a small part of a grand sceem to crush capitalism.

Yes, some of the individuals and organizations behind the caravans have an agenda. They are far too well organized to be grass roots movements of refugees

Conspiracy or not, results are the same.

No matter how deeply a person wants to give, no pocket is bottomless. At some point people have to be turned away, not because we are heartless, but because our own needs and the needs of our loved ones must be considered.

When did we turn away the Europeans in the last two centuries @Patty_Melt ? ? ?

Potato famine in Ireland.

Nazi Germany in the 1930’s

Is it because they’re “Brown Skins”; for Trump probably !

What was the population during those times?

Apples and oranges. Refugees come legally and go through legal process, not make threats to storm a border. That is the difference between immigrating and invasions.

If you saw some poor bloke on a sidewalk asking for change, do you give him some? Even when all you have is two dollars and no groceries at home?
Now suppose you said no. How would you react if this guy says when someone asks for change you have to give some and if you don’t hand it over he will take it by force.
THAT is why Trump and so many Americans are giving them the finger.

That you think it has anything to do with skin color shows you are such a bigot you can imagine no other reason for saying no.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@Patty_Melt “It is because they’re “Brown Skins”! Trump’s dad discriminated against renting to Brown or Black skins and the enforcer; Donald Trump would find a way to not rent to them.

Calling me a bigot because I point out your BIGOT hero is a BIGOT ! SMH

Let me rephrase that, He ( Your heart throb hero is a bigot ) does not make me anything but observant !

Neither were they all inclusive nor all exclusive.
In many cases with rentals it is mostly about income and stability.
If that comes out favoring one race or another, or gender, or age, etc., not the owner’s fault.
