Losing Weight Make You More Attractive, Is That True?

Researchers at the University of Toronto have determined the amount of weight people need to gain or lose before others notice or find them more attractive, losing weight make you more attractive – based on the way their faces look.

There are general societal standards for appropriate weight. The question is whether these standards are biological or cultural. Consider the case of Mauritania

For me personally I know it’s true. And I look younger, also.

I don’t see how obesity could be anything BUT cultural. In nature we were originally in small bands with limited resources. I don’t think think they would tolerate one person eating enough for 3 people from their limited stores. Part of the aversion may very well be instinctive.
