Oh oh! I can actually answer this because I was “legally blind” for most of my life, until I had Lasix in 1998.
People. People (of the same color) look the same. As a kid up through Jr. High, at the local pool I had to quickly memorize patterns and colors of my friend’s swimming suits.

Salt vs Sugar. Lol I had my vengeance against my Brother who would practice his Martial arts on me, when Mom went to work! So I replaced the sweet sugar in the crystal dish with grainy salt!! He thought he was putting sugar on his Cornflakes
