My very first non cartoon movie my folks took me to was 2001: A Space Odyssey. I was 8 years old and begged my parents to buy me the soundtrack. That was my very first record I ever owned. Still have it and still love to listen to it.

Poledouris theme in Conan the Barbarian
Goldsmith’s Total Recall theme and this scene from Heavy Metal movie scored splendidly by Bernstein.

@Lonelyheart807 That Out of Africa music. I can remember. The one playing when those two characters were flying in that plane right? I think it was the James Bond composer who did that music.
