Have any of you wondered whether the current pandemic is merely the prelude for what is to come?

With the world’s population bulging, and global interactions expanding exponentially, why should we believe the next exotic contagion is not right around the corner?

I haven’t wondered. I’ve considered that it is the truth, particularly since seeing some documentaries about industrial farming in 1990.

We also have to look forward to catastrophic climate change, ecosystem collapse due to mass extinctions of non-human species at the hands of our various land-use, industrial and overfishing practices, antibiotic failures due to overuse, economic collapses due to untenable practices, fresh water crises, and probably various wars…

I certainly have wondered. Anyone think it is a PLANdemic?

It’s inevitable there will be another pandemic and it might be more deadly than what we have right now. Hopefully we are learning lessons that we can apply to future outbreaks.
