Why was Trump exempt from being fingerprinted, and mug shot?
Or did they do them, and wasn’t made public?

For the federal charges he was finger printed.
I’m sure his fingerprints are on file.
No need because EVERYBODY knows who he is!
He was fingerprinted in New York earlier this year. Mug shots are discretionary to aid identification if he runs but given that he was a) president of the US and b) had long running reality TV show people can probably identify him with out the assistance of a mug shot.
He is one of the most know people in the world.
