How can I save images I view on Opera as normal .jpg/.png/.gif files?

Asked by MrMontpetit (1843points) January 24th, 2009

It always saves as “Opera files” even if I save it as whatever.jpg or png or whatever. I know it opens the same but I’d rather have it a regular file. I got it set how I wanted on my other computer, but I can’t remember how I did it.

Maybe try to change the extension or maybe try to set the “open with…” to a photo program instead of opera?

Make sure you have the latest version of Opera. Works just fine for me with the default settings.

Jamkas, i think that is it. Thanks, i remember doing that on my other computer. Because when it’s saved as an opera file images open in opera, you just have to set it to open in whatever else. Thanks :)
