It’s my little escape from reality.

I tell people about it but so far no one has joined. I panicked a little when I thought my boyfriend was gonna join cuz I’ve asked a couple questions about him, but then he didn’t so I breathed a sigh of relief. :)

I have a couple friends who are also getting disgusted with AV & I’ve told them to come over here, but they haven’t as yet. :-(

I have my mom, augustlan, and my sister, flyawayxxballoon, on here, but they joined before me. :-D

Fluther is mine.

But Pete, you’ll still share your pot with us, right? :)

No (hangs head because she feels guilty about Andrew & Ben), I don’t share.

I’ve mentioned it to a few friends but I didn’t really sell it.
This is my tropical desert island.

Ive mentioned it to a few friends and family while in conversation. “Oh you know I read something about that on fluther…...blah blah blah” But never to the point where I told them to join. Its mine. I dont want them knowing what I do when I “play” Maybe Ill have them join, but Ill never tell them my screen name and Ill remove my picture. Its my secret world.

I’ve thought about mentioning it to a few people, but never have. And I’ve hidden it from my ex girlfriends, thank god.

There are a few people I think would be great for fluther, but because they’re good friends with my parents I don’t want to be spilling all my deepest darkest secrets to them. We’ll see.

I’ve mentioned it to a few friends. Friends who(m?) I feel would enjoy the discussions and would have something intelligent to add.

I absolutely do not share Fluther. This is my place to ask questions, receive advice, and talk about things in my life I might not normally talk about if everyone knew who I was. If I talk about it with friends/family in conversation, I don’t mention the name – I just say, “This interesting topic arose on the internet forum site I frequent..” or something along those lines.

If anyone I do know joins, I – like @babiturtle36 – will simply not tell them my screen name, will change my avatar, and will change my info on my profile.

Fluther is my escape!

I’ve used this response to another question like this, but-
Fluther is my dirty little secret. And I like it that way.

@AC You just have to find the right threads!~

augustlan's avatar

I have, but no one (besides my daughters) has joined.

I have told my family, but only because I had to explain what I was doing. I’ve warned them not to come here, though. I would hate for anyone I know to see what I say here. It wouldn’t be shit hitting the fan. It would be a cow yard of manure hitting one hundred airplane turbines.

Good analogy!

I told one of my friends about it and she was like, “You go on a site and ask and answer questions. And it’s fun. Right, ok…”

casheroo's avatar

My friend was telling me about it at work, she said she likes to answer the questions…I don’t know her screenname though, so I haven’t been able to stalk her…and probably wouldn’t, since that seems skeevy to me. I doubt she had anything to hide since she told me about it haha.
I tell my husband about it, he sees what I’m doing if he walks behind me. I doubt he’d join though, he’s more into playing games than social sites.
