When will the US finally get out of Bush's Iraq?

Asked by ksea (72points) March 25th, 2009

Can the US abandon the billions poured into the desert of IRAQ? How many air bases will the Iraqi government get the use of? How many structures? How many communications installations? What does it cost to keep Bush’s Iraq in business?

I dont know if we’ll ever leave. We built an embassy there the size of the Vatican city. We will remain there as long as we continue this interventionist foreign policy.

Probably soon, but then full throttle to Obamas’ Afghanistan. Is it cheap keeping the Baltics, the Korea Peninsula, Japan, Western Europe, N. Africa, Taiwan, etc. secure?

Every past administration in this country is pretty much accountable for our global presence and dilemma, sacrifice and ultimate cost to the American public.

Heck, at least there’s going to be a bumper poppy harvest-so it’s not all bad..
