always a job

for me, whatever I do for money is a job

I guess if you get better at something and then make more money out of it you may call it a “career”, but even when I was a singer I considered what I was doing a job, somewhere deep inside. It’s not that I wasn’t enjoying it, but I was still doing it for the money most of the time.

My source of income is my career but it isn’t my perfect job in my career..I’m not quite sure what that is though so I’m okay where I am, for now

It’s a job at the moment. But it’s in the general field that I want to pursue as a career, and I may well be able to use it to advance my chances in said career.

Career. I am the king.

Job. Once I finish school, I’ll try to have a career.

It’s all about paying the bills, for me. My husband has a career, but is currently working a job.

I am currently working at a job, I am persuing my career and am hoping to leave my job when my career makes enough money.

Career.
I couldn’t stand the huge amount of stress if I would consider it just a job.

I really like what I do, but I just don’t see myself ever having a career. I have too many fingers in too many pots. They might all be careers in themselves. So, if it’s a choice between job and career, I have to choose job, but really I have never done work I didn’t really feel like it served my soul as well as my pocketbook.

I’ll never have a career, but it’s not just a job, either. Is there anything in between?
