How in the world did Evan Kasprzak get to the So You Think You Can Dance finale?

The guy went to my high school and I can pretty safely say he has a highly dedicated fanbase.

Personality and great dancing.
He may not be the most versitle of the guy dancers, but he can put on a show.
He’s the kind of guy you want to win just “cuz.

Ade and Brandon are very similar stylistically, the people who voted for those two were largely the same group of people. So the vote for them was split, while Evan had his one camp of people.

People thought he can dance.

Many times the winners are chosen based on their charisma rather than actual talent. I have also read that the votes are manipulated by the show producer to ensure that the contestant who is likely to bring in the most viewers will win.

He is very charming and likable.

He is different. Everyone doesn’t have to fit the same cookie cutter mold…
