Will FCP 6 run on a new Intel macbook pro?

A quick google search did not produce this simple answer… if anyone happens to know. I’m guessing it must since I believe FCP 7 did not come out until recently and what were people doing before then but wanted to confirm.

I run fcp 5.5 on my mbp so I would be willing to bet 6.0 runs as well.

It should. But it will ask you to install Rosetta first. This is a painless thing to do and is in no way harmful so don’t worry when it prompts you.
