What makes a good person?

Is it their religion, genes, parents, environment, or just the luck of the draw?

That is subjective.

A good person is how YOU see them. And that is really all that matters.

To me it is someone who cares for others, and doesn’t try to intentionally hurt people or living creatures

It is a combination of all of the influences you mention in your details section plus genetics, which I think plays a role.
