How are serving sizes calculated?

Asked by deborahp (1points) January 28th, 2010

As a preschool director I am responsible for providing snacks containing two food groups per snack. I need to be able to determine if a food qualifies as a protein by the number of grams contained in it.

Most things contain protein. The food item you buy should have the amount of protein listed in grams on the label. Serving sizes vary and are also mentioned on the label.
