Yes. I was really bad at it. You have to have a lot of upper body strength, which I absolutely don’t. As for where you can get gear and pick it up and stuff, I rented at a vacation place. I don’t know if or how you can windsurf outside of one of those, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you could. Wherever you can, I’d also bet they have lessons. The place I learned did.

Once. I was terrible. I was at Club Med in Cancun and they had lessons and equipment there for the taking. Good excuse to plan a trip.

Can’t say that I have, although it does look like it’s exhilarating & frustrating in equal measure.I’ve farted in the sea before but I hardly think that qualifies.

wait a second…Are you windsurfing on a lake or in the ocean? I grew up kind of windsurfing. My grandparents lived on a lake. This is not something you just dive in to. It is expensive and you will need practice.

I mean on a lake… I am no where near the ocean. :)
