When the Titanic sank, how far from NYC was it?

How many miles is the wreck east of New York City?

2007 kilometers, or 1247 miles. source
Of course that is to the place where it sunk, so if you want to go to the actual Titanic, you must add some meters extra.

It is 12.600 feet (3,84 km/ 2.386 miles) deep.

It’s actually northeast of NYC, near the Grand Banks. They were steaming on a Great Circle Route, which on a flat map curves northward and then back south near the destination.
