For Christmas, if you could GIVE one special gift to an old lover, what would it be? And, what would you say on their Christmas card?

Asked by john65pennington (29258points) December 11th, 2010

This year, you are given a once-in-lifetime opportunity, to give a card and Christmas present to an old flame. No one will know this, except you and your ex (s/o). Question: so have at it and let the words flow, along with this one special gift to them. What will you say? What will your Christmas present be?

I’d give them an orgasm and in the Christmas card I’d write, “you’re welcome.”

A little floating candle in a small glass bowl with underwater flowers. The candle would be burning. The card: ” Still burning…....”

I have zero desire to be in touch with any old flames.

The past is just that. Past.

I prefer to give to those that occupy space in my ‘present.’

A knuckle sandwich and this song which would be gift wrapped with pretty bows on it!!

A job as a lawyer or biologist with the Center for Biological Diversity and a note saying “Hope you enjoy this more than your current job!”

I don’t have any lingering desires or hard feelings toward any of my exes. So, nothing.

None of my old lovers interest me all that much. There was one I was ready to do anything for, but I was not thinking very clearly then. If I could give her a gift, I would give her no more health worries. The card would say that you gave me much to deal with, but you also helped me to be healthy. I want to return the favor.

There are others I would or could love if I were single. I would give them all the gift of freedom that comes with knowing at your very core that you are lovable and need be nothing other than who you are and you will always know love without ever having to be afraid of losing it again.

I would watch happily as they found their own sense of completeness. It would be bittersweet, though, because I would wonder why I couldn’t do the same thing for myself.

I can’t think of anything I would want to give to any of my old lovers.

I merely hope that they’re all happy now, even though we none of us were really friends when I was dating them. I have no special gifts for any of them.

I’d give one a DNA, “Who Da Baby Daddy?” test kit.
She wanted it to be me, but she was off by 16 months. While a 22 month gestation period is normal for an elephant, it is a bit unusual for a woman. Even though it may feel like 22 months.
The card would say: “To the three of you. From Santa.

A paid for home in his place of choice. The card would read, “I know you’d do the same for me. Thanks for so many wonderful years of friendship.”

A dog bone, I think the bone alone would be pretty self explanatory.
