17 days after you realize you can’t take life anymore. That is about how long it takes to cancel all your utilities, credit cards and check over the will and insurance policies. If you have pets or children then you might need 20 days max.

@Cruiser but what age 125 130?

Cruiser's avatar

IMO that is up to you. Life is too short as it is so I plan on squeezing out as many sunrises as I can, but if life takes a turn for the worse to where there is no joy in living anymore….I will start the countdown. I plan on making a strong go of it till I am 90….then I will retire from kick boxing and then take it easy for another 5 years or so.

99 years is such a long long long time…...98¾ oughta do it.

I’m good to go anytime after 60 if I make it to that

Cruiser's avatar

@coffeenut A $20.00 bet says you change your mind about that anytime after 60 when you get to be my age. ;)

My theory is that we go as long as our mind and bodies have been wired to take us. That’s unique for each of us.

coffeenut's avatar

@Cruiser I bet you $100 I don’t change my mind…..lol

I don’t think there is a perfect age to die.

As for me, I’m hoping to make it to at least 110.

There is no perfect age.

I can say that I’d like to live as long as I am healthy and active and don’t run out of money. lol

But…I am and have been ‘at peace’ for a long time now, soooo, when my numbers up, today, another 40 years, I’m good. I have had a full life and have no unfinished business, so, it’s all good. ;-)

Whatever age you are when you’ve done everything there is to do, been everywhere there is to go and seen everything there is to see.

As long as you have something to live for, then the later the better. Of course, if I had a debilitating/painful terminal illness, then now would be the time.

This is really an oddball question.

In my life, i plan just about every move i make, but this is not one of them.

Each of us has our own time to go.

I am not pushing the clock for an answer.

coffeenut's avatar

If you really want to know…..check the Death Clock

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

@coffeenut Nice. Where’d you find that?
Apparently I’m going to die on November 10, 2058

coffeenut's avatar

One week after I can’t get to the bathroom anymore. I want the week so we can be sure I will never get to the bathroom anymore, or commode.

No later than age 70. I want to go while my mind is still sound. While I realize that there are plenty of coherent septuagenarians and octogenarians out there, I don’t want to wait around and see how long it takes for my brain to eventually go.

60 to 70 is the best age of die in 21 century because environment of the earth dose not allow for living healthy life after 60 years.
