Do you trust the government media's report about radiation levels from Japan?

Asked by RubyB (581points) March 13th, 2011

Reports today are that levels will be low in the U.S. But these reports are brought to us by the same organizations that told the emergency responders on 9/11 that levels at ground zero would not harm them, and have done their best to convince the world that the spill in the Gulf has been cleaned-up, when it’s actually sunk down and out of surface-camera sight.

I trust them at the moment because I don’t think the facts are serious enough for ‘them’ to want to hide them from us.

I would hope that everyone can see that the media has an agenda and is not reporting news. They are telling us what those in control want us to know and they lead many around by telling awful lies. 911 is one of the biggest lies in history and they still try and back it up with the media. I do not trust the information at all and as people begin to die from radiation sickness they will still lead the public and will have their stories that most believe. Sad thing

No not at all….this is a major FUBAR and I don’t think anybody knows quite how to deal with a core actually melting down. So pull a hood over the situation and pretend it will be alright….not much else you really can do.

Dose up on kelp and seaweed to protect your thyroid, then pull the hood over your head.

I’m gonna be suspicious. Maybe they’re telling the truth, but it’s hardly harmful for me to go out and pick up some respirators just in case.

I was just viewing a site that shows radiation levels around the country, and updates every three minutes. Could be worth keeping an eye on. I’ll get the link when I go on my laptop.

I think a lot of things are being suppressed in order to maintain stability. Global panic will set off a global economic collapse.

Short of taking iodine, there’s not a damn thing I can to but keep my head down and go when it’s time to go. We all have zero control in this situation.
