How can the °white badges° be earned ?

They are a secret and we technically aren’t suppose to tell. If you think you know how to get on, you can PM Auggie and she’ll usually tell you if you are right or not. Some of the other jellies will also tell you if you ask them in PM.

We weren’t mocking you. We were having fun referring to some of the “white badges” by using fluther memes. Read up a little on the community itself, before you start bashing its members.

@Hibernate Some of what you took for mocking was actually clues to getting the “white badges”. Not very many folks here would mock a new poster.

You guys crack me up! I followed your hints, through the mists of times, even saw myself back in time, and wound up with the pilgrim award! I also emailed Ben to let him know that they have tons of salt in Hutchinson Kansas and he didn’t need to go to India for salt. That was my good deed for the day.

I WISH they hadn’t retired some of those questions. I have important things to add.

@Hibernate Look, all I was trying to do was explain about the answers above that you mistook for “mocking” or “smartass”. Our comments were neither of those, we were having fun hinting about the “white awards”.

You’re coming off a little egotistical right now, to claim you know us by “seeing us in action”. Apparently you don’t understand what all the above comments meant, so you took them the wrong way and lashed out at other jellies who were legitimately answering your question with hints about how to get the “white badges”.

Now seriously, instead of being patronizing to @wilma and acting like a jerk, spend some time on the link I gave you so you’ll understand what we meant with the “smartass” comments. If you’re too lazy to get a feel for what was behind the answers on your questions, then don’t accuse us of being smartasses when we mention frizzers, cakes and pancakes on other questions. In this case, I think it’s OK @Hibernate! Yes…one has to be careful about how to interpret the written word because you don’t have any voice cues to help you understand the deeper meaning. If you’d been able to hear them, you would have heard them laughing at the memories and you would have understood that.
