Standing on a grassy lawn early in the morning (it was a good party – we hadn’t been to bed). There was dew on the grass and the sunlight made it appear like there were rainbows on the grass, all curving round to end at my feet, and at the time I thought it was the awesomest thing ever.

I only ever tried that stuff once, I was about 14 or so, old enough to sneak in to clubs. I took the thing, but nothing happened.

I started walking home on the beach at night, the dry sand was totally covered in vague footprint shapes, and the street lights illuminated the top of the sand, but left black shadows in the little pits that feet had made. Suddernly I was not on a beach anymore, but on a giant carpet of messed up melting faces, kind of like the scream movie mask.

I tried to get off the beach, but it was not that simple, it was like a puzzle. The way the sand/faces made little hills in a diagonal shape that went in sets, I could move towards the pavement for a while, but then I would have to move back towards the water to avoid having to put my foot in any of the faces mouths.

I went home, saw my own face melting in the mirror, when to my bed even more scared, where a set of self imposed pattern based laws trapped me on my bed for what seemed like weeks.

Never touching that shit again.

I was tripping hard from a good night that consisted of a mix (weed, painkillers, alcohol, a little coke, topped off with shrooms). Now, we had a designated driver, but we were riding down I-35 and the lights were litterally dancing, like as I looked at them, they danced from the bulbs. Then we got to a party and I remember talking to a tree for an hour and everyone at the party was wearing togas. Other than that, I was blacked out. Talk about a good night.
