What is your "guilty pleasure" song?

Asked by chyna (51311points) September 24th, 2011

We all have them. The song that comes on the radio and you know all the words and sing to it if no one is with you. But you roll your eyes and tell people you hate it when it comes on. Is it Billy Ray Cyrus’ Achy Breaky Heart? Village People’s YMCA?
Mine is LFO’s Girl in the Green Dress. Tell yours.

I don’t have such a song .. oh I don’t really care if others judge me or not when I enjoy a song. Though I don’t really listen to music for everybody that’s why most of the times I keep to myself what I listen using headphones. And when others are interested I tell them it’s not for everyone’s year and they usually agree with me after they give it a try.

I’ve been guilty of doing this for every single country song out there. There are not a lot of country fans where I’m currently living. I don’t really care what they think of me for listening to it… I suppose it’s just human nature to slip into the disguise.

Foster The People have a hit song with Pumped Up Kicks . It’s a bouncy little song that I hate to admit liking.

I usually feel a little guilty when the old people walk by on the way to the neurologist’ office next door and I’m playing AC/DC at level 22.

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought I love that song! I keep reminding myself to add it to my IPod. It’s a catchy, bouncy song that would be great at the gym. You know, if I ever make it back to the gym.

I have no guilt or shame, but if I did it’d probably be over SNSD’s Gee, which I love proudly.

I have no shame or fear, and I like what I like. I don’t care what people think, and I don’t pretend to…yeah. I’m just trying to be brave, here.

Viva Forever, bitches!
And I know it by heart, even backwards. Been a fan of that one song for more than ten years haha.

I claim to dislike Celine Dion (and, for the most part, I am definitely not a fan) but, Think Twice is a beautiful song.

@augustlan You are so awesome for actually writing that!

Just about any cheesy ‘80’s love song. My current favorite is “I Can Dream About You” by Dan Hartman.

Rick James “Superfreak.” I’m a 50+ suburban white guy but when I hear that song, my first impulse is to climb up on the table and make a fool of myself :D
