Does a small chest make you look younger ?

Asked by suzanna28 (684points) November 23rd, 2011

I was just wondering as a female what contributes to you looking younger. Is it more your face or your body or both ?

Both I’d say. Womens breasts do get larger as they get older, it’s part of the many changes the female body goes through.

I might be alone in this.. But energy and attitude gives me a perception of youth more than physical attributes.

Love is truly blind.

Oh @johnpowell I never knew you cared!

I would say non-saggy boobs make you look younger – big or small.

plethora's avatar

@johnpowell agreed…energy and attitude. Breast size has nothing to do with it. Being in reasonably good physical shape certainly enhances the energy and attitude.

Boobs have little to do with it. A youthful face accentuated by youthful carriage is more striking. By youthful I’m not talking about wrinkle-free either.

Not necessarily.

rebbel's avatar

In my case, yes.

janbb's avatar

@rebbel I kinda liked you before you had the breast reduction.

GQ for boob in the title.

XOIIO's avatar

It depends, send me pictures and I’ll tell you.

I’m just sitting back on this one….being a small boob person and all….lol
Let’s get the consensus.

It depends on your overall image… how you behave… move… if your ‘boobs’ are small or not is not so important… I would say…

Do big boobs make you look older? :P

FutureMemory's avatar

@AshLeigh On first glance, yes.

MilkyWay's avatar

I don’t think so. Everyone I meet assumes I’m 4 years older than I really am.

Actually, the density of breast tissue has much to do with how your breasts look as you age. The denser the breast tissue the perkier the breast. I would think this has more to do with looking younger (as far as boobs go). I am happy to find out mine are very dense! I knew they were perky for more reasons than not having any kids. yay…

If they are big and saggy, then you look older no matter what age I would think.

fizzbanger's avatar

In my case, yes, too.

It’s a proven fact.

I think being a healthy looking thin generally makes people look youthful. Very large breasts can make some women look heavier, even boxy on top if they are short waisted or wear the wrong clothing. Actually, clothing, outer and under, can change your shape greatly and how youthful you look.

I agree with the attitude and energy. I just emailed my daughter a link to my next travel destination Sundarban national park in East India. Yep, I want a bungalow in the Mangrove forest and the Royal Bengal Tiger Tour. ;-)

bobby78's avatar

Of course not.

Good posture and a smile are the best anti-aging rx’s.

janbb's avatar

As I’m sure @Milo would agree!

germanmannn's avatar

If you send me a picture I will be happy :~)> to tell you!

So why did “boobs” change to “chest”? They are entirely different questions?

plethora's avatar

A small chest, ie, a small rib cage, will make you look older. You will not look healthy. You will have a sunken chest and you will look weak. Just the opposite of health and vigor and positive attitude.

Small BOOBS, however, should have no effect whatever on the appearance of age. It’s all about attitude and energy. Wrinkles don’t matter either.
